IWC Jumbo YACHT CLUB II Automatic | Ref. 3211 | 18kt yellowgold | IWC archive extract

This rare Vintage IWC Junbo Yacht Club II, Ref. 3211 in 18kt yellowgold was first sold on April 30, 1979 in Zurich/Switzerland. IWC Yacht Club II are generally very rare watches. It is assumed that less than thousand pieces ever were produced in total, most of them in steel and less than 200 were made in yellow gold. Divided up into the ref. 3211 (yellow gold and steel case) with leather strap and the ref. 3212 in steel with steel bracelet. The list price in of the yellow gold IWC 3211 with leather strap in the year 1979 was around three times higher compared to the steel version. Case number 223xxxx and movement number 229xxxx. Has the automatic caliber 3258 built in. The linen dial is in great condition with no damage visible, all lume dots are present. Case appears to be unpolished and shows time of prior wristtime. Could be easily polished through IWC upon customers request, I decided to leave it as is for now. Movement is running on high amplitude above 300 and there is no indication for a service in the near future. Has a BS leather strap with the original IWC pin buckle in 18kt yellow gold. I am adding a set of brown IWC leather straps in new condition. IWC extract of the archives, dates December 6, 2010 completes this package.
