This rare Panerai Mare Nostrum “Pre Vendome” Full Set, Ref. 5218-301 A from 1993 is in near NOS condition and has the low serial 010, one of the first that have been made after the 10 prototype watches. Overall condition is just perfect, only slight traces of handling and storage, even the original caseback sticker is on the watch. blue dial is flawless. The 42mm stainless steel case on the original blue strap and tang buckle, manual wind ETA 2801 with Dubuis chonograph module, brushed stainless steel Km/h bezel. It is not completely clear how many of these watches were delivered in 1993. Estimated less than 500 pieces were sold by Panerai, the rest of about total 1000 watches were transferred to the Vendome group.
