Rolex Submariner 5513 MKII dial

A nice Rolex Submariner 5513 with serial 675xxxx, dating it to 1980/81, a cool piece for every day on your wrist. The MKII dial in in good condition with color-matching original Tritium hands, both a bit off-white color. Case has been polished in the past but is still in very good fat condition. Serial and reference are clearly visible between the lugs. REGISTERED DESIGN engraving is missing, only the reference 5513 is engraved, which is correct for that time period, before Rolex switched the engraving to ORIG ROLEX DESIGN from around 1982 starting with 7.0 million numbers. Bracelet is a later 93150 with 12 endlinks, claspcode M8 (1988) divers extension, moderate stretch and only slight signs of wear, with correct 580 endlinks. Bezel inlay is a later service inlay with SL pearl.

Watch winds smoothly and is running strong with high amplitude +2/+3 seconds a day on the timegrapher- almost COSC, which is very good sign for a non COSC certified movement. My authorized Rolex watchmaker has changed the crystal, gaskets and rotor axle, and adjusted the watch- it’s now good to wear for the next years without a need for another service in the near future.

A fairly priced 5513 in good condition with perfect running movement make it a great compagnon for evey day to wear.
