Rolex GMT-Master 16710 | Faded Coke | Full Set | X series from 1991

This Full Set Rolex GMT-Master 16710, X93xxxx series from 1991 with faded Coke inlay just came back from my watchmaker and is unworn since that service. When I bought it, the condition of the movement was simply bad. But as always, my watchmaker did a great job. Now the movement is as new with two years Rolex service guarantee on top. So no issues to expect for the next decade.
As mentioned before it has been completely serviced, all necessary parts have been exchanged to qualify for the Rolex service card. Also crystal and hands have been replaced. Despite the perfect polish and finish the case still is super fat condition. My estimate is this was the first ever a polish was made on this watch.
The Rolex USA papers supplied are not punched, unlike in most rest parts of the world. However, this is absolutely correct. since the concessionaires in the USA filled them out them by hand or printed the data on the papers. The paper mentions the reference, serial, dial color and even the bracelet. Watch was sold through Reed&Elliot with blank date and buyers name.
Coming back to the bracelet mentioned in the papers and mounted on the watch. It is a 93150, a bit unusual for a 16710. Usually you would expect a 78790 or 78360 bracelet instead on a 16710. But it is not uncommon that US versions were delivered with Submariner 93150 bracelets upon customers request. The one has the clasp code S6 for 1994. I am quite sure this bracelet and clasp came originally with the watch on first delivery, as also the enclosed booklet are from 1992 and 1993. Rolex steel watches havn’t been sold that quickly these days. Bracelet has been santinized during the service and has obvious stretch, but still good to wear.
The dial is beautiful with all Tritium lume plots in perfect condition. There is only a small chip on the edge of dial at 4 o’clock which is really hard to see with bare eyes, it is not noticable on the wrist at all.
The Coke inlay has evenly aged, especially the red part has a faded tint, as you would expect on an old GMT Master 1675.
Enclosed “Your Rolex Oyster” booklet dated 1993 and the GMT-Master booklet dated 1992, both correct USA versions, box is the 12.00.71 with it’s matching US carton cover box, Rolex service guarantee card with booklet and a copy of the service report (1625,00€).

Imported from the US, all taxes and duties paid, price including 19% VAT, net sales ex EU is possible.
