Beautiful daily wearer, but real Vintage!! Charming Rolex GMT 1675 Pointed Crown Guard, SN 503xxx from 1959/1960, in very good overall condition. This watch has received a full Rolex USA service in January 2000, Rolex service card, service invoice, plus creditcard slip and service box coming with the watch. Has a flawless matte non-radiation MKVI Tritium dial and handset built in, a caliber 1560 tickering and several watchmaker signs on inner caseback. Obviously these changes were made during the service, so the bracelet change to 78360 (mentioned on the invoice), bezel and blueback inlay.
Early 1675 PCG usually have glossy Radium Chapter Dials dials built in, but these were often swapped during services later due to bad aging condition and/or strong radiation of the Radium dials. Case has been polished during service, all numbers are legit, without any corrosion throughout the watch. Movement runs strong with amplitude up to 290, no incication for a service in the near future. Watch has passed a pressure testing recently by my watchmaker and is waterproof according to it’s specification, even though I do not recommend exessive diving sessions with a vitage watch with a vintage watch and can not guarantee for waterproofness. Protocol comes with the watch. UPDATE: My AD has slightly polished the bracelet, it is now like new.
Overall, a nice package for the non-radiation lovers, looking for an Vintage daily wearer, without any issues. Or, a perfect base if you have an old radium dial and handset in your collection.
