Rolex Submariner 16800 matte dial | MK3 | LC100

Another beautiful Rolex Submariner 16800 matte dial, transitional model with serial 732xxxx, dating it back to 1983, in very good overall condition and and mint MK3 matte dial. First sold in Germany (LC 100) on June 26, 1983 by Schmiemann in Oberhausen. The 16800 comes as a complete collector Full Set, with double box, punched and stamped papers, calendar, translation booklet, hangtag, Rolex Submariner booklet and Ihre Rolex Oyster booklet. This popular transitional model and successor of the famous 1680 and has a sapphire crystal, quickset date calibre 3035 movement, and unidirectional bezel.

Has a 93150 bracelet with 12 links, 593 endlinks and divers extension. Bracelet has slight stretch and a claspcode G from 1982, making it the original bracelet that came with the watch. Serial and reference are clearly visible between the lugs. Case is in very good, fat condition with a lot of material, sharp bevel and edges. Best part of this watch is the mint matte Tritium MK III dial. Interestingly the 16800 had four different matte dial variations.

All Tritium luminous is in perfect condition, so the original hands, both matching perfect and aged in a beautiful evenly light vanilla tone.

This Rolex Submariner 16800 winds smoothly, runs on high amplitude and has received an movement service through my authorized Rolex watchmaker recently.
